Kicking-off the Erasmus+ project Women In Governance in Sport (WINGS) in Lyon, organised by the French Basketball Federation (FFBB) and funded by the European Union.
@xavier.sportslawyer attended this meeting on behalf of Cresta, highlighting our commitment to tackle the gender imbalance in leadership positions within sports governing bodies.
The project will run until June 2028 and involve six partners from five countries, including Cresta. It is structured around four pillars:
π Data: collection of data of women in leadership across 50+ countries
π Enrichment: developing upgraded and digitalised training content
π Leader Angels: creation of a new European network
π Social media and podcast: reeaching young people and all women leaders
By contributing to this project, we support a more inclusive sports industry and help our clients transition from a player career to a leadership career. Same sport, different role. π
